Answers to common questions about purchasing and licensing PHPRunner and ASPRunner.NET.

How is the software licensed?

Licenses are per developer. Each person who uses PHPRunner or ASPRunner.NET to create, edit or rebuild projects needs a license for that product. People who only use the deployed web application do not need a developer license.

Are there limits on applications, deployments or end users?

A licensed developer can create and deploy unlimited applications for unlimited end users. Xlinesoft does not charge per application, deployment or end user.

Can I build and sell applications to clients?

Yes. You can build applications for clients, charge for your work and deploy the applications on their servers. Your clients do not need a PHPRunner or ASPRunner.NET license simply to run or use those applications.

If a client wants to edit or rebuild a project using PHPRunner or ASPRunner.NET, each person doing that work needs their own license for the relevant product. Delivering an application does not transfer your developer license to the client.

What is included with a purchase?

Your purchase includes a license for the selected product and edition, plus one year of email support and software upgrades.

What happens when the included year ends?

You can continue using your licensed version indefinitely. Applications you have built and deployed can also continue running. You do not need to renew to keep using that version or those applications.

Is renewal required?

No. Renewal is optional and provides another year of software upgrades and support. See the renewal information for PHPRunner or ASPRunner.NET.

What if another developer takes over a project?

The new developer needs their own license for the product they will use to edit or rebuild the project. Your developer license cannot be shared with another person. No developer license is needed for someone who only uses the deployed application.
