Returns the Lookup Wizard field whose value is displayed to the user.
Syntax
settings.getDisplayField(field);
Arguments
field
The field configured as a Lookup Wizard.
Return value
The name of the display field from the lookup table. Returns an empty value if no display field is configured.
Example
Display the field shown by the CustomerID Lookup Wizard.
var settings = new ProjectSettings("Orders");
MVCFunctions.Echo(settings.getDisplayField("CustomerID"));
