Database API: Exec()

Executes an SQL query using the current active connection.

Use with SQL Queries that do not return data.

Syntax

DB.Exec(SQL)

Arguments

SQL

an SQL query.

Return value

true if executed successfully;

false in all other cases.

Example

DB.Exec("insert into orders (Name, Amount, OrderDate) values ('Jonh Smith', 128.12, CURDATE())");
