Before you begin to write code to send email via PHPRunner, make sure that your server is properly configured to send email. You can check this very easily.
Save the following code as emailtest.php
<?php $to = "email@example.com"; $subject = "Test mail"; $message = "Hello! This is a simple email message."; $from = "firstname.lastname@example.org"; mail($to,$subject,$message,$headers); echo "Mail Sent."; ?>
Then save this to any folder on your server.
Example: Your host is named "BlueSky.com"
You can save it in the root folder, and then open a web browser.
You should receive an email if it was successful.
Now you can begin to work on coding using PHPRunner to send emails, knowing that any issues will be with your code, not your server.
